بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

We begin with Allah’s blessed name, we praise him and we glorify him, seek his forgiveness and ask him to guide us. Whoever Allah guides, None can lead astray and whoever he misguides, None can guide. There is no power and no strength except from Allah, The most high, the Most great, the most powerful. We bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. We pray for peace and blessings on all the noble messengers and in particular on the last of them all “the blessed prophet Mohammad (pbuh)”

Dear brother, the real punishment will be in the Aakhira. The punishment of this world will be only on Muslims and will be nothing in comparison to the punishment of Aakhira. We call ourselves Muslims but we don’t follow the teachings of Islam, we claim to be Muslims and our actions are like non-belivers, this is hypocrisy. It was our responsibility to show the world the Deen that Islam truly is, but our hypocrisy destroyed everything through which we could had established our Deen. We are all criminals in the sight of Allah.

Narrated 'Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) that she asked Allah's Apostle about plague, and Allah's Apostle informed her saying, "Plague was a punishment which Allah used to send on whom He wished, but Allah made it a blessing for the believers. None (among the believers) remains patient in a land in which plague has broken out and considers that nothing will befall him except what Allah has ordained for him, but that Allah will grant him a reward similar to that of a martyr." Sahih Al-Bukhari [Volume 7 :: Book 71 :: Hadith 630 ]

We know, in the past many nations were destroyed and punished and they were Muslims too, recall what happened with nation of prophet loot, recall what happened with the Israelis. They were all punished because they disobeyed Allah, they were saying something and doing something else, we are no different from them. We are involved in everything that Allah has prohibited, we deal in Ribah, we consume alcohol, we watch and do immorality and many more and we claim to be Muslims.

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar said: “The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) turned to us and said: ‘O Muhajirun, there are five things with which you will be tested, and I seek refuge with Allah lest you live to see them: Immorality never appears among a people to such an extent that they commit it openly, but plagues and diseases that were never known among the predecessors will spread among them. They do not cheat in weights and measures but they will be stricken with famine, severe calamity and the oppression of their rulers. They do not withhold the Zakah of their wealth, but rain will be withheld from the sky, and were it not for the animals, no rain would fall on them. They do not break their covenant with Allah and His Messenger, but Allah will enable their enemies to overpower them and take some of what is in their hands. Unless their leaders rule according to the Book of Allah and seek all good from that which Allah has revealed, Allah will cause them to fight one another.’” Sunan Ibn Majah [Vol. 5, Book 36, Hadith 4019]

Caronavirus is a punishment of allah for not fulfilling our job. Our beloved Saudi Arabia was going to open its door to cinemas, casinos, night clubs etc and still we think we will not be punished. Millions of muslims suffer under the hands of oppressors while other muslims remained mute sepectators. Do we think we will not be punished. Look at the poor Rohangia muslims, what the muslim world did for them.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet sent Mu'adh to Yemen and said, "Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah." Sahih Al-Bukhari [Volume 3 :: Book 43 :: Hadith 628]

If we will not fulfill our obligations the punishments will come and it will be more and more harsh .We have done enough wrong, now is the time to return to allah and seek forgiveness for every wrong we have done.

We were sopposed to be the representatives of allah on earth: an agency for the propagation of virtue and an institution for total eradication of evil and falsehood, but unfortunately we have ended up to be the agents of shaitan. It is the mercy of allah that he is still giving us the opportunity and time , so that we mend our ways. And it is the mercy of allah that whoever dies of plague will be a martyer and still we are ungreatefull.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, "(Death from) plague is martyrdom for every Muslim." Sahih Al-Bukhari [Volume 7 :: Book 71 :: hadith 628] And Allah alone knows the best.

I ask Allah to make this a sincere effort, seeking his pleasure, and I ask him to grant us refuge in him from the evils within ourselves, and that in our deeds. I ask him to grant us success in achieving whatever pleases him; And May Allah Shower His blessings and mercy upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his family and his Companions and on all those who follow him until the final hour.
